ANYONE HAVE A UPDATED NUMBER ? When I call the one listed it says it’s disconnected ! I need to make an apt, lost my glasses.
Receptionist violated HIPAA by talking about my medical information in front of other patients. Medical charts were uncovered (not in a folder), on clip boards left out on the receptionists desk where anyone could see/read/photograph them. Pretty sure Dr. Cerrone switched my eyes when he wrote down my perscription--my worse eye (left) had virtually no change in perscription strength, and somehow my astigmatism isn't as bad in that eye, while my right eye is half a step worse in strength? University Eyecares williness to squeeze people in has a downside. I had scheduled appointments for me and both my boys a month in advance. We had appointments for 10:30, 10:45 and 11:00. We arrived at 10:25 to their office and there were two people in the tiny waiting room. For social distancing we had to go to the neighboring Colonial Optical to fill out our paperwork. I had went to two different eye exam appointments that did not accept my insurance and they told me they did. I was so frustrated at this point because I have been way over do for an eye exam and was hopeless of finding someone at this point. I called university eye care explaining what had happened and the lady fit me into the schedule within 10 mins. I checked in and got my prescription for my new glasses! I will go here from now on when needing an eye exam.
