They schedule you for "appointments" but that really means they tell you a rough time to be there and that could mean you dont get seen for 2 to 3 hours. What is an appointment if not a set time that is scheduled? I have to work and twice now I've put in for enough time for a normal appointment to have to sit here for 3 hours. Its an atrocious system.
ECMC is God awful. Once upon a time this was my hospital of choice because they had good doctors. ECMC is dirty especially patient rooms. It appears they are putting all their time to paying individuals to check ID to enter the hospital. Firstly it was not a thug from the hood that went on a killing spree but an employee that killed another employee. Get a metal detector and scanner.
The patient mental unit on the 5 the floor and call operator service is unprofessional. Staff is rude, hangs up on family members, patients spends too much timen on the phone, I've been lied too, hung up on by staff, as a loved one I feel disrespected. I visited my loved one and witnessed staff engaging in their own entertainment and enjoyment, not paying attention to mentality I'll patients. Worst hospital we have ever encountered! Lots of screw ups...lots of stress...and a huge lack of professionalism and care.
