I have known Dr Thomas Michael Kafferberger since the end of January 2020 when he was a 3rd year senior otolaryngology resident on Dr Ryan J Soose Sleep ENT rotation at UPMC Mercy. Fast forward 2/20/20 month before the pandemic this very respectful 3rd year otolaryngology resident was in my second turbinate reduction surgery with his future Sleep ENT boss and department head Dr Soose. This is a great doctor/specialist. He listens, and in every way he can, he solves your health issues. He's also a very positive and happy Doctor, which I appreciate. You can tell he likes his job, and helping people. My first appointment with him was great. He used his scope to check out my nose/adenoids, showed me my epiglottitis and voice box. It was cool. By the end of the appointment he approved me for a tonsillectomy, which was necessary for some health issues I have been having, and also because they were just far too ... read more
I was able to get my child in for an appointment on the same day I called for one visit, and the other visit was scheduled the very next day. I had to travel to Pitt, but worth it. The staff are so nice when I call to make an appointment and very accommodating. The "gatekeepers" are the schedulers and they are very customer oriented and helpful and it is greatly appreciated!!
