The UNMC faculty practice in Lincoln are okay in service but horrible in billing. I saw the poor reviews before going there but still trusted them since I go to UNMC Omaha for my regular care and they are fantastic. But this dental practice is not directly a part of them and again horrible for billing. I had to go there 4 times and twice of those visit were not covered with my insurance. I have been a patient here for years. In 2024 I had two appointments scheduled for both an exam and a cleaning. I arrived for both appointments; on each visit the cleaning was completed but the dentist cancelled the exam. Because the exams were cancelled, the clinic is now denying me prescription refills. This outcome resulted from the provider’s cancellations, not from any action on my part. Warning for others: if you require consistent exams or ongoing prescriptions, you may encounter similar problems here.
I have been going to the Faculty Clinic for years and their service is great. They spend more time cleaning my teeth than any private practice I have been to and pay close attention to details. They clearly explain everything they do and are responsive to the my needs. This is about as good as a dental clinic gets.
Lincoln has better to offer for the same price glad I switched patient in 2023 - 2024
