My grandfather grew up at the U Club and I had the honor of visiting the club and dining there shortly after the interment of his late wife, my Granny Jane Forbes. My grandfather and I were never able to meet, as he died a year before I was born, but seeing his childhood home and getting to tour portions of it was like having a piece of him. Thank you to Lisa and all of the incredible staff for being so kind to my family!
