We lived there from 1966 to 1971 and it was a lovely place with great next door folks and the mngt. people treated us like their children, since we were newly married and fresh out of USMC. We really miss all the ice plant and roadrunners coming up close to the edge of the little golf course next to our back/front door.
I have lived at University City Village for a year now and will be renewing my lease for another year. I love my casita. The grounds are kept just beautifully, plus any time I have had a maintenance problem, the maintenance man has always fixed the issue either the same day or the next day at the latest. It's difficult to find a vacancy here because generally when a tenant gives notice to move out, the apartment immediately gets rented. I highly recommend University City Village. It is a wonderful place to live.
