I am a new client and I LOVE this vet. I would refer them to anyone. We purchased a 10 week old German shepherd puppy from an AKC breeder and within two days she was sick and diagnosed with Parvo from the vets office I normally use. Our family vet was on vacation and there was a substitute vet who referred us to an emergency vet called Blue Pearl. That first visit cost us $200. The best veterinary hospital ever! Also, it is good to know that University vet is not only run by an excellent Doctor, but also by a great human being. Doctor Gus is the best, he really is a mentor for me and a great example of who I want to become. Every pet in this world deserves high quality healthcare and also to be treated by awesome doctors and a great staff!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. We absolutely love taking our dogs here and wouldn't take them anywhere else. Dr. Reading is AMAZING and has been so wonderful to us. We had to rush our boxer in one night when he was extremely sick. We have been battling and unknown illness with him and he was at an all time low. The staff got us in and back into a room right away. Such a wonderful vet!! My husband and I absolutely love University Animal Hospital. The staff is so amazing and helpful, the doctors are passionate and the facility is always clean. Dr. Reading took in our sick dog and gave him the best care. She checked on us daily and made sure Lincoln was feeling well. I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff and have always felt so welcomed. I highly highly highly suggest UAH to any pet owner.
