Jack and his son are very honest awesome mechanics! I brought my car here after a different shop wanted to replace my shock absorbers (my car is driving fine). To which Jack responded, “all you need is an oil change! They’re trying to take your money!”

I can't recommend Universal Smog and Repair enough! I first took my wife's 2016 Honda Fit to another place for verification, and the check engine line was on. The guy there told me it had three codes related to the catalytic converter and that it needed to be repaired before it could be smog-checked. I was worried about a costly repair, so I called this place for advice. They told me to come in the next day and talk to Jack, the owner. I have been taking my Ford cargo van to this place for many years and they always did an excellent job. They do excellent work they're very honest and courteous. I highly recommend this place for your repairs or smog and air conditioning problems.
