Great place to get real medical treatment and not just medicine
I've always had a good experience at WPM (Wauwatosa Pain Management). Then they switched over to Universal Pain Management, the P.A. Julie who writes the prescriptions is very unprofessional she’s in the room with you for 3 minutes and 2 1/2 of those minutes she’s talking about her personal life, no exam or anything! Then the M.A’s are unprofessional with attitudes, same goes for the receptionist! I’m not surprised that they are under investigation. I have never been treated with such kindness and compassion before being a patient with UPC; I am very grateful for their help. However, the stigma surrounding pain management is completely asinine. The FDA, CDC, and many others that look down on those that take medication for pain need to UNDERSTAND that NONE of us will leave this earth without SOMETHING.. whether it’s Cancer, COPD, or any other crohnic ailment.
