great hospital I loved this hospital. I grew up as a ward of the state so when I turned 18 I had no money, no parents and no one to help support me. This hospital treats everyone the same way regardless of insurance or ability to pay. The wait was long and the nurses werent the nicest I have ever seen but for a county hospital it could have been worse. They also have the best childrens hospital in the Vegas Valley.

Be ready to wait This is the county hospital. There is definitly a wait time. There are waiting rooms full of uninsured, and you could be sitting there for hours. The nurses here are rude but once you finally get to a doctor, you receive satisfactory care. If you can go to another hospital, I would.

Excellent Care I Had both of my children at this hospital. My first was 9 1/2 years ago. I went in with severe pre-eclamsia at six months. The nurses were very caring and very helpful. My daughter was born 12 weeks premature. She went directly into the NICU unit. Where she stayed for 50 days. The nurses and doctors who work the unit were wonderful. I could call in the middle of the night and they would tell me everything about what she has done. They were very patient when i would ask alot of questions about her care. About ... read more
