I set up an appointment with Universal Hyundai service ***** for specific diagnostic tests to be performed on my 2018 Hyundai Elantra engine. Their customer service is horrible. I bought my 2022 Tucson back in April of 2022. When I bought the car I had several issues during purchase. Spent 3 hours in the service department for an oil change. Got nothing done. I asked the service manager every 1hr about it and they never explained what was going on with my car. After 3 hrs. I asked them to give me my vehicle back because I had to go to work. Liars, they will entertain you, they will waste your time (months) to avoid responsibility for their defective engines. Yes, another Hyundai shut down in the middle of a highway and had to be towed to Universal Hyundai, we waited over 3 months, going back and forth with the dealer and customer service, everyone avoiding accountability. I had a lease with them that I wanted to buy in cash at the end of my lease. The lease holder said that I needed to go to them and get a ** to finish the transaction . The salesman, manager gave me the run around and at the end they told me that I will get the ** from them only if I will finance with them only or if not, that I will be charge a dealer fee for the work with is around $1,100.00. This dealership sold me a 2 year old used car for practically the same price of a new one after they added all the unnecessary add-on's that they had told me was included in the original price. They said they couldn't get me into the new car because no bank would finance that amount and keep me in the monthly payment I wanted. I had what was supposed to be routine service on my car on Jan. 29. I am sure the service was cut short because of the nest that was found under the hood. After I got the car back the "change oil" message kept showing up and the tire pressure was low. I called the dealership service dept. to find out if all the services had been preformed. My daughter’s 2016 Hyundai Veloster Shut down and had to be towed to Universal Hyundai. Her car sat there for an entire week before being looked at. When she purchased the car, she had a seven year warranty. When they finally diagnosed the car it totaled over $2000 but due to our warranty we had to pay $713. 30 days later her car shuts down again.
