Unity point midwives was with me through my entire pregnancy. They treated me with so much care. I had midwives who took the time to make sure I had every question answered, valued informed consent, and were a wealth of knowledge. They don’t just look at your chart, they look at you!

This is my first pregnancy and the Midwife Services was recommended to me by a friend. I had no idea what to expect but everyone I’ve interacted with over the last 6 months has been nothing but welcoming and so knowledgeable! I absolutely love the parenting classes and feeling prepared has eased all my worries.

Impersonal experience. I would give one star, but I did not know any better as this was my first pregnancy and did not even mean to choose this place so that is on me. None of these midwives seem to really care, feels like you’re just another paycheck to them. I had “high” blood pressure twice (low compared to other women I have talked to about pre eclampsia experiences) and no protein in my urine ever. I have had great experiences overall. From the front desk staff, to the nurses, to the midwives, they have all made my pregnancy an enjoyable experience. I was nervous about declining some offered services, like a vaccination and induction between 39 and 40 weeks. I hear so many stories about people experiencing providers that push medical procedures or make pregnant people feel bad about not choosing a medical procedure.
