If I could give this a zero I would. I would never take any family member here ever again. We brought our 13 year old child who was in a severe mental health crisis!!! we met with crisis intervention who sent us to Lutheran. We had 6 officers at our home, 3 holding him down. We waited FOUR hours and the entire waiting room went ahead of us 1.5 times!!! What in the hell is wrong with you!! This hospital is absolutely THE WORST one my mom has ever been admitted to. I wish I could give a -10 star. There are SOOO many things they botched up while here & I can list all of them so it will take a ile to read, but please do read everything before making your decision. I never wanted to come here in the first place. I heard things about Iowa Lutheran, but my stupid sister beat me to the ambulance without asking where they should go. Worse hospital I had to deal with. Communication is horrible and my dads room stayed dirty this hospital don’t even deserve a one star I waited 5 hrs for a nurse to call me back there was time where the nurse never called me the only good part is when my dad got discharged and away from that disgusting hospital
Waited 4 hrs and gave up and walked out
Had nothing but two great experiences here. Went to er on valentines night with a gallbladder attack was taken care of immediately and all staff was great! 10 days later had gallbladder removed there as out patient surgery by dr. Marc Miller all staff and dr were great! Big thanks to all that was involved with my care.
