Impersonal experience. I would give one star, but I did not know any better as this was my first pregnancy and did not even mean to choose this place so that is on me. None of these midwives seem to really care, feels like you’re just another paycheck to them. I had “high” blood pressure twice (low compared to other women I have talked to about pre eclampsia experiences) and no protein in my urine ever. But they told me I needed to be induced at a little over 40 weeks without even checking my urine or monitoring my blood pre... read more
I have had great experiences overall. From the front desk staff, to the nurses, to the midwives, they have all made my pregnancy an enjoyable experience. I was nervous about declining some offered services, like a vaccination and induction between 39 and 40 weeks. The nurses, providers and front desk staff are all excellent. I have always felt cared for, listened to, and had full understanding of my plan of care. The staff is EXTREMELY helpful with faxing all those annoying forms for insurance and FMLA. (Shout out to Christine!) I really like that you see all the midwives before birth; allowing you to get to know each one. This has been the best prenatal care I've had. Thank you.
I had a great experience with the midwives and nurses here. I found them to be supportive and good about answering questions. At around the 32 week mark, they were concerned about possible fetal growth restriction. Realizing that their tools aren't the best for accurately diagnosing that, they referred me to the perinatal center for an ultrasound later that week. That was kind of a stressful week for me. Fortunately they found the baby to be within normal limits. But due to a cord issue that they discovered at the perinatal ... read more
