Thinking this was the worst decision of my life. The staff is friendly to get your trust! I really think this group strives to drive the closing costs up and insist you have to pay off so many creditors so the loan is too high to pay off in a lifetime. The interest is all you'll pay for tooo many years. Unless one hits the lottery, expect to either lose your home or have family stuck with that debt. This company is a scam in my opinion. Many of the founders came from Rocket Mortgage. Stick with Rocket Mortgage!
What a pain in the ass is to contact UWM, I NEED TO SET UP MY AUTOMATIC PAYMENT WITHDRAWAL and I cant get a hold of anyone!! I would Never get another mortgage with them!

First impressions are important, and the one I got was absolutely horrible. My mortgage was supposed to be set up with an escrow; it wasn't Calling in to get one set it up going forward meant dealing with what is possibly the worst automated phone attendant I have ever had to deal with. It will not under any circumstances transfer you to a person unless you pick a specific option, after it gives it to you, AND it understands you. Saying 'Escrow' before it is given as an option restarts the tree. It hearing 'payment' restarts... read more
