We had UWM and were in the final phase of recasting our loan. UWM sold our loan after taking our recast funds, however did not complete the recast. We are now left scrambling because the recast wasn’t finalized, and the new mortgage company is taking forever to sort out the situation. All could have been avoided if they didn’t sell our loan during a recast.
The team at UWM is fantastic. My AE is Andrew Stavischeck and he goes above and beyond to assist you every step of the way.

UWM has the worst customer service. They never answer their phones. I just bought a house 4 months ago and every time I call I’m left on hold from 30-60 minutes. Don’t know if they’re understaffed or just lazy. Horrible customer service. Makes me not give a damn about making my payments on time. Horrible Customer Service.
