My mortgage has been serviced UWM for two years with no issues. Then I received notice that the loan would be transferred to, UWM. Something having to do with subdividing a unit. What they were actually doing was transferring it to a unit that has merged with a company called "Bilt." Terrible. They estimated my taxes and never updated them to the correct tax bill, while adding an extra parcel of land to my property, overcharging me 400 dollars a month on my monthly mortgage payment due to escrow. Then I called multiple times and keep getting hour long calls that lead to nothing but empty promises. I was in the process of buying a new construction home from Grand Homes, and the sales rep recommended that I got with UWM as they had a 10% down no PMI. I trusted the sales rep as they are in this business and know people and their offers. Now looking back, I believed the get a commission for referrals. After talking to the MLO at UWM, they first quoted me 5.75% APR. At first, the initial document shows 5.75%, but then a few weeks prior to closing, it changed to 6.25%.
