I contracted with United Waterproofing to install a sump pump system as my basement walls would get damp when it rained. It was the first project we did on the home we bought. The team did an excellent job, and Matt was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. He even helped me change out the damper to a quieter one as the noise bothered me. United Waterproofing does excellent work! It is a very professional, reliable and highly skilled company. We used their services years ago when water entered our basement near the bilco doors. We never had another problem in that area of the basement since then. This year, a water problem developed in the opposite half of our basement. I strongly suspect it was the result of the earthquake we had in New Jersey in April. There was a drought all summer, and if there was any rain at all, the basement had water problems. United did quite a bit of outdoor drainage work to divert roof and landscape water away from the foundation of our home, repaired quite a few lengths of outdoor underground drainage, added decorative gravel, replaced a sump pump, and cleaned/disinfected a pretty funky crawlspace.
