I called and they said they have a plate compactor with rubber pad. When i arrived they asked if i wanted to put on the pad myself. Red flag: should have walked out then. After 1hr if waiting for tech to install i got green light to pickup at the back of establishment. When I got there their foreman said the pad is not compatible with the compactor and if it's OK if I take it without the pad. Lol. What a joke. I give them 2 for their shiny equipment. My experience with United Rentals was extremely disappointing. After finishing my project, I called to arrange for the equipment to be picked up and was assured it would be collected either that same day or the following morning. Four days later, the machine is still sitting on site. Poor communication and failure to follow through on their commitment have made this a very frustrating experience. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using United Rentals.
Ramnarine (Buddy) Singh with United Rentals at the Scarborough location is a pleasure to deal with. He is very professional and helpful in fulfilling the customer's needs. Keep up the great work.
