Very shady company, hidden fees all over the place. We paid our rent early our entire lease including pet fees, and pet deposit. We paid our February rent in mid January then they sent an exterminator which we agreed to pay for ahead of time. After taking our February rent they put the extra charge on our “rent app” then 7 days later served us with a state of Michigan document to vacate premises or be evicted. Do NOT rent from United Properties. I decided to sign a lease in spite of the bad reviews I saw on here and other sites, and I regret it. The "move-in ready" apartment that they gave me was filthy (see the attached photo of the mold that covered the inside of my refrigerator on move-in day). I delayed my move to allow them to fix the issue, and there was still mold under the bottom of the drawers and in the drawer slides when I came back a few days later. The folks are Great...Always willing to work with you. Repairs are a snap! We are an "elder bunch" and am so Thankful you all have accepted us✨We are fortunate and blessed to have a Roof✨❤️.. especially now a days.. Hope this gets to the Front st. Hello My name is Lakisha and i am a renter this is the biggest mistake of my life before you go into business with them check out the other reviews from other site about this company. Very SHADY MONEY HUNGRY rude and they look down on you they talk to you like you stupid so really think about before going with this company or you will regret it big time I know I do.They charge you for anything just to get your money

i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended becauseHorrible. I would never recommend anybody renting their rental or income property from United property's . They where swift on getting a tenant in the property , getting the security deposit and two mouths latter I emailed the company and they assured me they would have money in my account by January and the tenant moved in November holding back a month. Do NOT Rent From United – DO NOT rent from this company! We had safety concerns with the downstairs neighbors - United was supposedly unable to help us. Water damage requests were ignored for months until the issue was finally fixed.

NEVER EVER EVER RENT THRU THEM – NO RATING. THEY ARE DUMB, DONT KNOW ANYTHING BESIDES WAYS TO GET MONEY FROM YOU. MY STEP DAD HAD PROPERTIES THRU THEM, TOOK THEM BACK. THEY KEPT SPENDING HIS MONEY WITHOUT ASKING TO MAKE REPAIRS TO THE HOUSE. THEY CANNOT STOP BUGGING US FOR THINGS THAT CONCERNS NO ONE. ITS BEEN ISSUE AFTER ISSUE, INCLUDING MANY MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS WITH THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OUR HOUSE. ITS RIDICULOUS HOW MANY PROBLEMS IVE HAD, AND IVE ONLY BEEN WITH THEM FOR 4MONTHS NOW
