My dad had a horrific experience at this place. The nurses and aids were completely neglectful. We had to take him out before he was medically ready to come home. I wouldn't want to see anyone else's loved one go through what my dad went through.

Of its kind, this is the best place around. I’ll be the first to write a bad review of an experience, so I must immediately write a positive one when it is warranted. If your loved one or you needs a short term rehab after surgery or another situation that caused decreased mobility, I can’t imagine you’d be able to find a better place. My Mom's been an assisted living resident for almost a year now and I've been very happy with the care, facilities, and activities available to her.
I have nothing but good things to say about The Shores, it is very clean, the food is great! But most important the staff is the best, it starts as soon as you walk in the front door with the receptionist staff. My mother has dementia & has been in memory support for almost two years & she loves it there & that’s all that matters. And believe me if something wasn’t right I would be the first to hear about it from her. I LOVE The Shores! Our Mom has dementia n she is loved n taken care of 24/7!. ALL of the staff are trained in geriatric elderly care on a regular basis. It's very clean n beautifully decorated feels welcoming! Pam Garafolo has taught us ways to effectively deal with crisis when they arise. Pam treats each of the clients with love n respect! Thank you Pam n the wonderful staff!
