Being AB+ I try to donate plasma as frequently as I am able. This is my go to clinic because it is close to home, clean and the ladies at the clinic are knowledge, friendly and care about health quality and safety. I have been donating for the past 4 years and plan to do so for many more!
Yesterday, was my first visit on this site to donate blood. What a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly, professional and very well educated. I will be back and I encourage people to give blood to save lives. I was pleasantly surprised to see young adults giving blood too!
Fantastic service as always here. Usually it begins with Renee over the phone or the greeting coming through the door. Happy Birthday to her. Great Stick today, like it never happened and the newer Power Red machines are So Much better.
I went into the Glendale facility today to donate. I didn't have an appointment. I was surprised at how busy they were. I did a "Code Red" donation. Things went very smoothly and painlessly. The variety of snacks is not what it used to be but that's okay. I promise to donate again and actually make an appointment. :-)
I'll be honest I don't go anymore for a lot of reasons. I used to be quite frequent on giving blood. For one every time I went it was warm, except the first time. Afterwards I kept continuing to go hoping it was just that facility but I've gone to many more after. Second of all they are really rough. Hardly can you ever find a gentle hand. I don't care about free crap or the free food. But I do care about my water being cold not those stupid kids drinks I'm not a child.
