Doug is an amazing balloon artist. He was there for our son's birthday party. Very professional and entertaining. Kids loved his jokes and colourful balloons.
We recently held our annual Carnival event at Delavan High School, and each year the kids get really excited for the balloon expert. Trinity did an amazing job and all the kids that came by were extremely happy.
Bradford celebrated its 150th birthday and having Doug from The Unique Twist come for two days made it so special. We will definitely have him back next year. The kids loved him and his silly jokes. Stood in line for 25 minutes at a ball game, and talked to the guy doing the balloons. He was aware I was there with my 2 year old in tow. waited until I walked up and told me he wouldn't make him or even ME a balloon because he was not 3! Said it's unsafe, but we are sitting together, supervising him obviously. I'm more upset that he just let me stand in line that long before telling me. The sign he pointed out was small print and not visible until you were at the front. My son was as upset as I am. Very rude!
Wardcliffe Neighborhood Association had Doug for National Night Out 2019. He was great with all the kids, young and old. I would recommend The Unique Twist for any fun event. Thanks again Doug for helping make our event a huge success! — with Doug Smith.
Every July 4th we have a big cookout at the Carpenters Union hall in E. Peoria for our members and their families, around 150-200 kids each year. Doug and his crew do a fantastic job each and every year! They get there early to set up and never refuse to do something for an early arrival and always seem to stay a little late to make sure every child has something!
