Been seeing this provider for a couple years and love them. Always eager and willing to helpmate any needs related to my mental health. Ms. Venus actually takes her time to hear and understand you, rather then seeing me for 5 min and then the appointment is over
I am truly grateful to have found Venus Woke!!!! She is incredibly thorough and always takes the time to explain my meds, how they work, and why they’re the right choice for me. My appointments never feel rushed, and I always feel listened to and respected!! What really sets her apart is how much she cares about my overall health, not just my mental health. I haven’t heard from anyone in about a month regarding services. In the past, I felt safe with UHC because I had both a therapist and medication management. However, since having a bad reaction to ADHD medication, I feel like I’ve been left hanging. The appointment I did have was about four weeks ago and was so quick that I didn’t have time to talk about my concerns. Ms. Venus Woke is the truly the most professional, caring, and attentive when it comes to my medication management. Not only does Ms. Venus Woke understand her patients needs and concerns and addresses them in a timely manner, she goes above and beyond. I always look forward to our appointments and she provides me with useful advice to manage my ADHD. I have been seeing Venus Woke, MSN, PMHNP-BC for a few years now for my psychiatric medication management. She is a one-of-a-kind provider. She is empathetic, thorough, and competent with her clinical care. She takes the time to understand me as a person and collaborates with me to identify holistic solutions. She incorporates use of self as a provider in a way that has built my trust for her and makes me feel seen. I leave my appointments feeling cared for and empowered. I would highly recommend her.
