I have been seeing Venus Woke, MSN, PMHNP-BC for a few years now for my psychiatric medication management. She is a one-of-a-kind provider. She is empathetic, thorough, and competent with her clinical care. She takes the time to understand me as a person and collaborates with me to identify holistic solutions. She incorporates use of self as a provider in a way that has built my trust for her and makes me feel seen. I leave my appointments feeling cared for and empowered. I would highly recommend her.
I am truly grateful to have found Venus Woke!!!! She is incredibly thorough and always takes the time to explain my meds, how they work, and why they’re the right choice for me. I haven’t heard from anyone in about a month regarding services. In the past, I felt safe with UHC because I had both a therapist and medication management. However, since having a bad reaction to ADHD medication, I feel like I’ve been left hanging. The appointment I did have was about four weeks ago and was so quick that I didn’t have time to talk about my concerns.
