I had much higher expectations prior to living here! Disgusting! To begin with, management is seemingly ALWAYS absent when something goes wrong. I have been waiting for a replacement dishwasher for over a YEAR! Additionally, requests are addressed second to last if, they have the necessary staff! Lastly, the garbage chute has been out for over two weeks! Disgusting! I cannot believe the level of UNPROFESSIONALISM that exists within this establishment!
Update 4/27/26. the response from the management team is untruthful and disingenuous. [“thank you for bringing this to our attention, barbra.”] we learned they’ve been aware of this weeks prior to the review. also it’s not an “inconvenience” - it’s a putrid unhealthy pile of dog poop the management team abruptly stopped emptying after 9 years. they’re “looking into this matter”? there’s nothing to look into, they should be a responsible neighbor and collect their residents dog poop. lastly, we walked around the apartment bui... read more
Matt goes out of his way each and everyday to make this apartment complex run proactively. If not for Matt I’m not sure if this apartment would be able to keep up. He puts his heart and soul into the job. When I first moved in 2 years ago I mistakenly thought Matt was the property manager because of his professionalism and integrity. My experience at Union West Apartments in Lakewood has been extremely disappointing. First of all, the pool and hot tubs are always broken, filthy and never properly maintained. It's a shame because these amenities were a big selling point when I moved in. Not only that, but the workout room is extremely small and lacks basic equipment or what they have is broken. And don't even get me started on the coffee machine - it's never working! Parking for guests is a nightmare. There are never enough spots and my friends and family... read more
We cannot wait for our lease to be up. This place is getting worse by the day. Hot tub is never working anymore and hasn’t for almost a year now. The pool and hot tub are absolutely disgusting with a black ring all round it, mold and a gross white film. I have reported this numerous times and called the corporate office and still nothing has been done. One of the staff members told me he will have to see if it’s in budget to get fixed.
