About this business
Standing as a grand focal point for the west end of 17th Street, Union Station is one of lower downtown's most attractive pieces of architecture. Numerous restaurants and nightclubs occupy this historic building. You can sip martinis and relate with urban hipsters at A Bar, or get rowdy to the blues and chow down on Cajun cuisine. The original building, constructed in 1880, burned to the ground. In 1914, the current beau arts building took shape, complete with three storey windows and high ceilings.

DONT EVER DO YOUR WEDDING PHOTOS HERE. We visited union station a few months ago to see what “items” needed to be done to arrange first look and wedding photos. We were told numerous times “nothing is needed”. My wife to be and I along with the photographer show up to take photos and all of a sudden we were approached by two security guards. They said we needed a permit (in a hostile tone) and that we needed to talk to a Sam Gentry for a permit approval. This was contrary to the numerous individuals at union station who said... read more

Your request would've been handled promptly while receiving any and all guidelines for shooting in Union Station.
