Beware. I had a terrible experience! Went in for a simple cleaning and the dental assistant completely ripped apart my gums while making me watch in a mirror and tried to say I had bone loss and gum disease and that I needed like 4 different expensive procedures not covered by insurance. My husband later said they did they same to him. The Dentist came in and just said I had a little plaque. Union Square Dental is possibly the worst healthcare facility I have come across during my 6 years of living in NYC. The dentists and hygienists are friendly and skilled, but the place runs like a money-hungry business, not a doctor’s office, with obvious insurance fraud tactics. They will try to squeeze you out of every dollar, and they won’t play fair.
