*something to consider * It’s a good place to live, and the management reviews are wrong-they are good about responding and quick to act. The one thing I’d point out that should be considered before moving in is the AC/Heater unit. It’s operated for the whole complex, meaning the AC will only be turned on for the hotter months. And heat will turn on for colder months. It’s currently May reaching 75 degrees and the AC isn’t turned on because it’s supposed to rain in a few days. I really have no complaints about living here at Ascent at Union Square. The management and maintenance are on top of everything and will be there in minutes to assist ur needs. It’s super comfy and cozy here and everyone is so nice!! If you’re looking for something affordable but that will still meet all of your needs i definitely recommend it here!! The fitness center is one of my favorite parts. 😁

You could walk out the door and see 20 piles of dog poop. No joke. I counted. When we were there a few months ago, a 1b 1b was $1250/mo. Insane. Sounds like better management may have lowered the price, but based on how fast management turnover was, you never know there. Theft was a huge problem - bikes, laundry, and even the pumpkin off our porch. The required renters insurance won't cover YOUR property loss if a pipe breaks in your apartment, just theirs. Also a true story. Gym is decent, but the AC was always having issue... read more
Very prompt maintenance; resolved my issue next day, even though it was a low priority. Communicated with me via text about when to expect them at my apartment and how long it would take.
