Melina is one of the most personable and friendly folks you will find in the city and stands by her work - easily one of (at this point, several of) the best cuts I've had. Very reasonably priced especially for the Marina and genuinely wants you to look and feel your best in your own skin. Highly recommended!!
Despite living on the other side of Town I make my trek over to Union Hair to get my cut and color by Melina. I like the salon a lot it is comfy and clean all the stylists are friendly too! Melina is awesome and very happy to guide you in the right direction or to follow your exacting ideas. She’s a great professional. My friends have also started to get their hair done by her as well! It’s in a cute part of Cow Hollow with lots of options for coffee and food nearby.
I had a very stressful and disappointing experience here. I met Melina by chance on Union Street, and when I mentioned I was looking for a new colorist, she enthusiastically told me she was a master colorist and that copper was her specialty. I just moved to the area and was seeking a new stylist (I aim to get my roots done every 5-6 weeks), so her confidence reassured me and I booked an appointment.
