Just heard the most ridiculous policy and an unfair practice - a cap on cash payout from cashing a check, but allowed to purchase a cashier check for a fee $15 for the remaining balance. There's no difference between cash and cashier check in decreasing the risk for UNION BANK, but they will gain in the fee earned from Cashier Bank. Is this because my friend is an AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN? I will not put my hard earned money in this institution.
