LOVE UNION!!! Each dish has such different flavors and ingredients. We love that it's smaller plates that you share, and honestly it's hard to not just pick the entire menu!
Last night my boyfriend and I ate at Alice Waters' fabulous Old Town Pasadena restaurant. We ate Hope Ranch Mussels (there was bacon in the broth, one of my boyfriend's favorite foods, so he was pretty stoked) accompanied by bread with tomato paste, spaghetti alla chitarra, and fusilli with fennel pork. Everything tasted incredible from start to finish! Highlights were the roasted squash, squid ink pasta, and duck breast :) Great for sharing small plates. 3-4 between two people and a dessert left us full & happy, but still light. The ingredients were fresh, the staff was attentive and polite, and the restaurant was packed with lively people enjoying great eats. Will come back for sure.
