If I could give zero stars I would. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Unio Specialty Care, both during my procedure and with the lack of follow-up care afterward. I underwent a Bulkamid procedure and experienced an extraordinary amount of pain. I was given lidocaine jelly in the urethra and Tylenol beforehand, but the pain became so severe that the procedure ultimately had to be stopped before it could be completed. Wonderful experience with Dr. Unterberg and his staff — always professional, and never any delay in appointment times. For years, I dealt with constant nighttime urination. I wasn’t sure where all that water was coming from — it felt like a mystery. Medication helped a little, but not enough. She is very kind, professional and knowledgeable! As to the unio system, blah. After my surgery I went to ER after hours. They called the unio after hours line to reach doctor Unterberg. No call back, The service tried again. No call back. They tried again, no call back. Again and again...no call back. They NEVER CALLED BACK! It seems like some guy is running unio out of his garage. I was rather desperate...and they just ignored me. Unio pretends it's something it is not. It is not a first rate system.
