The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. Our server was also great. However the seating arrangement was ridiculous. I specifically wrote in my online reservation that I did not want a table near the entrance and the host somehow seated us directly facing the front door. Not sure what the point of leaving a reservation note is if it is going to be completely ignored. Everything else was fine. This review is mainly about the front desk and the seating arrangement.
food mediocre : rice was not fresh, portions meagre , quality lower and priced higher than competitors. Service friendly and nice atmosphere . Not sure why other reviews were so high, maybe caught them on a bad day?
Reserved a table for 6 to celebrate my friend's birthday on a Sunday night. Sashimi weren't cut completely, which was disappointing. The staffs were nice enough to refrigerate the birthday cake but what really frustrated us was that they only gave us forks but no plates.
