RecommendedFirst time in and I had a Bialy and the Hibiscus tea. Both were amazing. The tea was so refreshing and not sweet or bitter. The Bialy was just right. The atmosphere is so lovely. It really reminded me of something you would find tucked away in the West Village in NYC. Very friendly and helpful staff. This is my new favorite place in Hendersonville.

You won’t find a jelly donut here, but you will find fresh loaves of artisan bread, a coffee cake or two, bakery bars, etc! Excellent coffee ...went rather nicely with the (still warm) German Apple Cake! Nom!
Love the eclairs and the focaccia pizza. Just moved to the area and so very pleased to be living minutes from the Underground Baking Co.
Stopped in for the first time today, have tried before but we're in the area too late and they have been closed. It was great, had German Apple cake filled with apples and nuts, delightfully moist and delicious and we were told only 1/2 cup of sugar was in the whole cake! Also brought home a cheddar jalapeno pretzel and wish I had gotten the spinach artichoke as well....also a loaf of French bread, all wonderful! Wish we could have tried the stuffed croissants but we will definitely be back.
