My husband & I are from California. We had a rental in Jacksonville, NC. In September 2018 Hurricane Florence hit; our home did not flood but was badly damaged, eg: roof damage, collapsed interior ceilings, etc. The damage to homes caused by Florence was extensive in our area and my husband & I realized supplies and contractors would be in short supply.
