Love Uncle Kenny's. Great place to visit. They make you feel welcome. The "Carolina" pork sandwich is the best. Wait, no, maybe I like the "Cowboy" plate best.... oh, wow, the decisions I have to make. Just kidding. I have never had anything that I didn't like. Just friendly down home folks that know BBQ.
The food is good. I had the ribs. Very meaty, dry rub with sauce on the side. Baked beans and potato salad. Garlic bread and sweet tea too. Jim had the north Carolina pulled pork sandwich with 2 sides. Meat was really thick on Texas toast with coleslaw. Sides were collard greens and baked beans. We definitely want to go back. A very casual type restaurant.
The brisket is always delicious but this night I had fried cornmeal battered catfish with fries and fried okra. Everything fried!! Good for colesterol!! But still delicious. Don't do this very often but it was so good. Love Cole slaw but cannot have all the celery seeds due to medical reasons. Will definitely return. Chris's favorite eating spot.
This is our first time here, and we love it! We will definitely be back to eat again.

The food is amazing I come every week. Great staff. Very friendly.
We went yesterday for the first time. The atmosphere is very like you're coming it a family member's house for a cook out. Nice! It is true, do NOT miss the pulled pork rolls they are to die for. Portions are big. Stick with the baskets if you're on a budget. When you get the 2,3 item combo platter it can get spendy. I will be back for sure. 1 star deduction for the ribs being dry and the coleslaw being so overly full of celery seeds (personal preference)
