My absolute favorite place in all of NYC! Great staff, great atmosphere and great music.
If you're not one of Yaz's regulars, don't go there while he's playing. Ask him what he likes, no answer. Request a Barbra or Barry song, an inconvenience. Watch people who aren't tipping as much as you sing 3 songs while you wait, absolutely. I love piano bars. I have worked at piano bars. I support the genre, and make a living doing the same kind of gig on guitar. Plain and simple, that guy is a dick. Love the bar, the staff are exceptional, won't go back when he is scheduled on the keys.

It's my default because I know it will be a fun night. Great piano players paired with an attentive stafff for all your beverage needs, plus a patio! What more can you ask for right by grand central station?
Everyone there was plastered. Karaoke � was was too loud. All lights on. Looked like closing cleaning time. Columbian waiter, so nice and attentive �. Finally had to move out to the patio, was getting a migraine from the bitch screeching unfamiliar songs on the microphone. No ambiance, and place was empty. Probably would not go out of my way to go here again.
