I was disappointed with my experience at UNC Dermatology. I have chronic eczema/neurodermatitis and a skin-picking disorder, and I don’t feel the provider had a good understanding of how these conditions can look on Black skin. Some of the raised, scabbed areas caused by my skin-picking were incorrectly diagnosed as keloids. couple months ago noticed an abnormal bump on my right chest & made an afternoon appointment to see dr david rubenstein @ unc derm southern village on sept 1....the facility was clean, inviting, the staff was professional & my wait time was minimal. following a cordial examination by drs rubenstein & henson, a shave biopsy/excision was performed...the procedure was painless & i found the entire experience to be exceptional in all aspects....thank you unc for putting the right people in the right place to create a top tier de... read more
Provider-5 stars, kind knowledgeable and efficient Scheduling staff-0 stars. Multiple errors with scheduling, gave me the run around for suture removal. Unless you have a lot of free time to call numerous times, do NOT recommend this office.
