Coming over from another state to North Carolina was a daring move for us. We had to get closer to available resources for our 2 kiddos with special needs. The entire staff was beyond helpful and amazing. The expertise and care they gave my daughter was absolutely outstanding. Not your regular first appt because we left knowing we had a solid plan in place and that the medical staff would be with us along the way. The management of this place tends to alternate between periods of order and disorder. Currently (in 2025), it is clearly in a state of extreme chaos. Many of the staff here are unfamiliar with their work, can barely speak English, and there is a large presence of interns. It is a very poor situation.
This office qill confidently give you incorrect information about Primary Immunodeficiency and should be avoided for this concern.
We loved this clinic for our children. I had a preemie and the same pediatrician treated her for two years until her residency was up. All the residence have been great and efficient. I just wish this clinic was closer to my house.
Definitely will be taking my children else where!! They kicked me out of the room to speak to my 12 year old alone (which she went on to tell me she was extremely uncomfortable with the questions they were asking her). They also lied to me about my child’s next appointment after my 12 year old told me why she was really going back. I find it completely unacceptable that they would intentionally exclude a parent from their child’s care.
