The wait for my appointment was short, the ophthalmology tech and Dr. Van Volkenburg were polite and thorough with my exam, as well as patiently answering any questions I had during the process. I had a great experience at the vision center as well, and only had to wait about a week for my new glasses.
The doctor I was referred to was very nice and did a good job I felt. The office lady that was up front was really cold and very short with me. I had to ask for each bit of information I needed. It was grudgingly given. After my exam I went back to desk (same lady) and asked what I needed to do now. She said “nothing, your done” and I thought yep I am! I left, went to Eyemart and bought nice new glasses.
This was my first visit to this particular office. I have to comment on the staff there. While I was waiting to be called back to the room, there was a man eho wandered in from the streets. This man was clearly disturbed and didn't seem to be 100% sound. He was speaking loudly and using foul language as he approached the desk. We were asked 3 different times during our visit what pharmacy. Three times we told them Sutherlin drug. Checked the pharmacy twice yesterday the prescription had not been called in. It's Saturday Centennial Umpqua valley eye associates have still not called the pharmacy. I'm disappointed and hopefully my husband's eye infection doesn't get worse. I'll be calling them Monday when they open and looking for a new eye doctor
Not a place I would suggest robin at the front desk is rude and Liz is also extremely rude I’d say go there if you want to have your eyes hurt after then swell up cause you were given steroids that made it worse I went to dr Stanley he fixed everything in one day my eyes were perfect when I left I’d go there instead of you want quality service
