Umi serves traditional Japanese cuisine, complete with sushi and unfiltered saki. For those who can't decide what to order, the restaurant offers special tasting meals. The menu changes daily to always serve what is fresh. A favorite is the Hamachi, which is served with jalapeno paste.

The VERY Best!!!! – The best restaurant in Pittsburgh. We have had sushi in the trendy places like New York City and Malibu, Ca. and nothing compares. If you want the best service, atmosphere and Japanese food this is the place. The sushi is the way it should be in taste and presentation. We have be coming to this place for many many years and it is always PERFECT!!!!!!
