We recently celebrated my daughters Baptism at Umberto’s of Massapequa Park! Everything was perfect from start to finish! Amazing staff, delicious food and great atmosphere! Thank you so much to Adriano and the waitstaff for making everything perfect!!
Tried it for the first time tonight. I just got take-out for my sick grandmother and I. The sauce was terrible both on my penne ala vodka (tasted like feet and vomit) and for her rice ball. The rice ball tasted like it was expired two weeks ago, it was so sour. I specifically asked the guy at the counter for soft not burnt garlic knots and they were black and hard as a rock. My expectations were not met.
Never have pizza ready behind the counter. And they don’t list topping and prices on the menu online. 🤦🏻♂️

They need help with the customer service at the pizza 🍕 take out section.. Been there twice and it’s the same thing.. will not be going back there again.. They do not listen to what your ordering and give you what they want... you figure the first time they just had a bad day, but when it happened twice, then you know it’s just that they don’t care to pay attention..
Excellent food and appetizers
Used to get take out Pizza as a kid... we moved away decades ago.... first time back in years. The restaurant has expanded, outside seating area, the pizza was great! My husband and daughter had Sicilian pizza they were very impressed, I had the classic cheese.... yummmmm. Service good too! Sat outside and enjoyed the view.
It’s a shame that this place is so mismanaged... every time I try it again it’s a reminder of why I stop going... shame because food is good.... but always cold, poor phone service, always always a wait no matter how far in advanced you place that order.
Waited 45 minutes for our food it was wrong called they apologized and said they would send it right out!!! 45 minutes later still waiting no food!! Always either wrong food or terrible service. Love Umbertos new Hyde park and Wantagh!! This location not so much!!! 👎🏻👎🏻
