We began seeing Dr. Garcia when he returned from Harvard with his medical degree. At that point he was in an office with a more senior doctor. He's the best diagnostician we've ever had. He has seen us through migraines, broken bones, Epstein Barr, multiple sclerosis, high blood pressure, pneumonia, and now aging. He never seems rushed, he's open to any questions (not limited to the purpose of the appointment) and does not hesitate to involve an expert. It went well. He listened and answered my questions. Explained everything and I understood.
Dr. Garcia told my mother that her pelvic pain was due to her being overweight and to lose weight. He didn't even order an ultrasound to verify if there was masses of concern causing her pain. Turns out she had a grapefruit sized ovarian cyst that could've very easily been found with an order for an ultrasound. He, like many male physicians, ignores the concerns of women until it is too late.
Dr. Garcia takes the time to listen and investigate the real issues behind my reasons for visiting him. His staff is always responsive when I have an urgent request.
Dr. Garcia has been our family physician for many years. Their staff is always helpful and professional. Dr. Garcia care about his patients and takes time to answer your questions and concerns, while providing suggestions for any follow-up.
Dr. Garcia has been my primary care physician for almost twenty years. I have never had a negative experience with him or with his staff; he is very professional and respectful, he is up to date with the last developments in the medical field, and does his best to help the patients.
Dr. Garcia is hands down, the best PCP in Las Cruces. I have been to several different Dr.'s in New Mexico and other states and no one else takes the time to ensure that I was listened to. His passion for taking care of others shows from his work, and unfortunately for the other Dr.'s in town, it is almost like just another job for them, and you are just another patient. Dr. Garcia takes his time and will make sure you will be healed, because you are another person to him, not another number.
Takes the time to listen. Never feel like he is pushing to get to the next patient.
Best Doctor in town! Very thorough and kind. His staff is also great and very professional!
