I love everything about this credit union! I've gotten to know staff personally and my requests are always dealt with swiftly and well.
I have been trying to resolve a declined transaction for THIRTY minute this morning. I have repeatedly flagged for "security purposes" at least a dozen times in the last six months. This means that when I try to use my card it is declined and then I have to follow up with multiple phone calls to correct the issue only to be flagged again the next time I use my credit and debit cards. I am an extremely busy college professor and writer and this repeated problem is a nuisance that I can no longer tolerate.
The new Northampton branch is horribly designed and extremely inconvenient. I went inside and no one said hello and the set up makes no sense and I was very confused. I got a lot of attitude from the woman I walked up to to ask where to bring my deposit, as if I should know where to go. The drive up atm is nearly impossible to get to without opening the car door. 5 star doesn't do them justice...I'd start with a 10*!!! I do the majority of my business with the Noho branch and what a top notch crew they are!!! I love the first name greeting the moment you walk in and the continued warm, personal service received at the teller line. In a time when customer service is becoming a lost art, due in part to ever increasing technology, these folks know how to bridge that gap and do so with grace and professionalism! A word of warning. The app and online banking system are faulty. I am routinely unable to login and their is no way to regain access without calling their call center which only operates between 9ish and 5ish. I have been locked out on business trips. Additionally, their branches have a "down home" feel and don't ask for deposit slips and don't provide a receipt unless you ask. I had two checks entered for up to 200.00 to low which caused a serious embarassment for me having to ask the person to write another check. The bank... read more
