This is NOT an Urgent Care facility!! They bill you and your insurance as if they are an Emergency Room, which is DRASTICALLY more expensive (even if they are in network with your insurance provider)! This means, for the same amount of money, you might as well go to an actual hospital ER with better doctors/equipment and a billing department that isn't shady! Otherwise, terribly long wait times, but convenient location and the nurses/physician assistants are nice. NONE of it is worth the outstanding copay and insurance charg... read more

It seems that there is a culture among the doctors and ER staff that involves treating patients like they're not really worth healthcare providers' time in terms of showing any sort of kindness, good bedside manner, or even keeping the patient rooms clean. My story is that I'd been having trouble breathing from asthma for awhile, yet the doctor kept asking if I took drugs (Do drug addicts even admit to doctors that they take illegal drugs?), and I kept having to repeat myself that I was clean. Then there was my personal nurs... read more

Single worst medical experience I have ever had and the pain continues with the billing months later. Spent two hours in the facility, was checked on ONCE and we were the only people in the entire place. We were discharged with no diagnosis and received a $2,000 bill for three different facilities and Doctors. I can't say enough about how awful the care was, how inattentive the staff was and how horrific the billing mess has been. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Period.

Dr. Katz is awesome! The BEST GYN in the world, hands-down. I had been suffering with excessive bleeding and painful cramping for 8 months under the care of an aging, incompetent doctor. Finally I went to see Dr. Katz, and he took me seriously, did a thorough exam & scope, found uterine fibroids, and within weeks I was in the hospital getting much needed relief in the form of a robotic hysterectomy. I am feeling so much better now, Dr. Katz gave me my life back! I can't thank him enough. Forget all the quacks, go to Dr. Katz... read more

The only reason I rated this hell hole a 1 was because 0 wasn't an option. The entire emergency room staff including negligent nurses and ignorant security deserves to be fired. You can be there on the floor dying from pain and they will not lift a finger to help you or make sure you are in stable condition. I truly pray this death trap is shut down one day very soon, because nobody deserves to be treated the way I was treated.

ER wait times are extremely long, even if you are in severe pain, you have to just lay on the floor and wait! Cause you don't have any other choice, if you don't have a family or car to go to another hospital and top of that you are in pain thinking you can die any moment. ok, you get to see a doctor, may be in 6 hours, then in another 8 hours you will be admitted to the hospital. They take you upstairs, some of the nurses don't know what they are doing, dropping needles and pain medicine in the hallway on their way to your ... read more

As a previous patient and current employee, most importantly an honest reviewer.. the local residents of this area are only to blame for the failure of PGHC. As a county hospital, it services all basic needs dealing with law enforcement (person under the influence, psychiatric petitions, detainees needing to be cleared for custody) to accepting no insurance patients, who wouldn't be seen elsewhere. First of all, because the hospital is older there are NOT as many beds as people assume. Other hospitals have 30 + beds not incl... read more

Best place to recieve treatment... Staff is wonderful, Dr. Hayes is sooo understanding and offers the best treatment possible. C.A.M offers several different programs. Suboxone Maintenance, Detox,Methadone Maintenance, NTP (28 day Methadone) and IOP (Groups and individual counseling). The staff really shows that they care about the patients health and well being. you can also tell that they love their jobs and love working for Dr. hayes. It makes you feel like your not just an account number. Dr. Hayes is the most down to ea... read more

The pediatric er is the worst er I have ever been too. The staff is incredibly rude. I have taken my child here a total of three time and everytime I go I get terrible service. I thought taking care of a patient was like taking care of a customer. I thought the nurses would want to give good service. I honestly think that when placing and ad for a job a quality that you must have to work here is to be a jerk.
