We started in Cedar Rapids and have grown by providing hometown service and expert care to more customers every year we’ve been in business. We know Iowa lawns. We know Iowa growing seasons. How many businesses could stay afloat if they sent out untrained staff to learn on the job and then charge their customers for their time? Most businesses look to provide training for their staff at their expense, apparently, not ULTRALawn. They sent out two technicians and they trimed 4 boxwood shrubs which took an hour (1 who was learning on-the-job) and charged $150 (2×$75/hr per man hour). Earlier in the year they had a technician (who wasn't training someone) come out and trimmed all our landscaping in 4 hours. Amazing ... read more

They have done a great job explaining what needed to be done and listened to my concerns about certain invasive weeds. my lawn looked better right away.
Good conscientious business.
My home is four years old and my sod definitely needed help. I started with ultra lawn just about a year ago and can’t believe it’s the same grass. I had company last weekend and the husband commented more than one time that he cannot believe how thick and lush my lawn is
We've been customers for about 2 year & had been happy until this summer. We put in a service call for weeds & the employee who sprayed used contaminated solution, so we ended up with multiple large "burned" brown areas on our front lawn. When I called to complain about having to pay for that months service, they said, well you didn't really pay for it since it was a service call. So I guess our lawn was damaged for free, which isn't any better. Now we'll have to have it re-seeded & aerated in the fall to try & fix the probl... read more
