When it comes to getting my first tattoo, I spent a lot of time searching shops around the area and the artists in those shops and Ultimate Arts definitely caught my eye. My artist was Jim and he was very nice, understanding, and patient throughout my whole experience. When it was time for the tattoo, I kinda gave him hints that I was very anxious. Hands down best shop in Madison. I see Jim, but every artist is very talented. Extremely clean. But I have to day my favorite part about UA is their involvement in the community. I just all around love this place!!

Can't say enough good things about Ultimate Arts and Mr. Chuk. Clean establishment, fun environment, and talented artists. I've loved working with Chuk on my leg piece- loved the custom design he created for me; and even though it's taken a few additional sessions compared to what we originally expected, he's been patient, flexible with scheduling, and has really put in 100% effort with the artwork.
Today was my first tattoo as it was my 18th birthday and I came here because my aunt got her work done by Stripe. I was completely nervous about it but Stripe was amazing. He was genuine, kind, knowledgable and trustworthy. He did a beautiful job and it makes me so incredibly happy. I feel lucky to have such a great piece on me. On a side note, the shop was clean and well taken care of.
