As I visited Ulta on a Friday afternoon, I completely understood that the store was busy. However, despite the crowd, I was approached by an employee after she noticed I seemed to need assistance finding a product. I went to Ulta to see Dontae for makeup help after meeting him a few weeks ago in store. When we first met, he was very kind, welcoming, and helpful—he gave great advice, complimented my look, and overall made the experience really positive. However, my visit today felt a bit different. I'd like to share my experience with scheduling and a last minute cancelation. It took some time the day before to schedule the appointment because the associate was having computer issues, but she and the team eventually got me scheduled. Then, about two hours before the brow wax and tinting, I received a text saying my appointment had been canceled by Laura.
