In less than 90 minutes I was checked in, had an X-ray taken and reviewed to confirm a healing fracture, had an exam to verify a sprain, received a much smaller & more functional splint than what I had been using, and was checked out. I interacted with 6 different employees and all of them were kind, thorough, and knowledgeable. The PA was great and took the time to walk me through my images and explain everything he was looking for. It takes a LOT for healthcare to impress me, but Ahuja nailed it today.

The physician's assistant I met with was very kind, listened to everything I had to say, and was able to get my insurance to approve the MRI I needed that had previously been denied 2 times already.

I had blood accumulating in my knee. It had happened before and was excruciatingly painful. The orthopedist said they couldn’t remove it because I’d had a knee replacement. Told me to just let it reabsorb. Recommended arthritis pain cream. Referred me to orthopedic surgeons who couldn’t see me for 2 + months. I went to a non uh ortho surgeon who took out a huge amount of blood with a syringe (as was done the last time). Complete recovery in minutes. I think it’s criminal that I was discharged from uh in that condition.
