Came here with pain in my side. Doctor wouldn’t listen to me at all. Kept insisting I was drug seeking. He kept telling me my pain was in an area I didn’t even mention it being in. Then told me to mix two dangerous substances to “help me calm down” and said he was writing me down as an addict to make sure no UH hospitals anywhere ever helped me again. I don’t know how this guy is allowed to be a doctor or how this hospital is allowed to operate.

I’m so glad that this ER is here. I came in with a hypertensive crisis and they had me tested for everything and gave me meds to get my blood pressure under control within an hour of me walking in the door. I waited just an hour or two more for all the results to come back, but was checked on often, reassured, and made comfortable while I did. The staff were all friendly, the ER is small but clean and well-run. Thank you for helping me through a really scary experience. Whatever you’re all doing here, keep it up!
