TL;DR: Save your money and go elsewhere. I brought my dog in for an ear infection and to get a lump checked. When she was brought in, she was completely fine (other than the ear). However, she has now been throwing up for over a week which is unusual for her. It started the night we left prior to me starting the ear infection medicine. University of Georgia Animal Hospital has an unbelievable facility, with the most caring and knowledgeable Doctors and staff. We are from South Carolina and it was well worth the drive.
Excellent service from all staff and students! Lots of hugs and peanut butter treats for my nervous boy. First visit he was freaked out, second visit he was walking in wagging his tail and last visit he walked in like he was home. Great job PHC!
I’ve been taking my dogs to the same vet for years closer to home, but I now have a dog with severe anxiety and fear-based aggression. I started first working with the behaviorist at UGA and have decided to start bringing her to UGA Pet Health Center for regular vet visits. I am so far very pleased with my experience with this team! They handled my dog very well and they had great communication. I will definitely be back!
