From the moment I opened my account, I've dealt with an astounding amount of incompetence from this institution at every conceivable level. Today, I was asked to guess the name of a teller (from a list) and their ethnicity, because apparently knowing the branch and the time of day was a little too sophisticated for their record keeping. I swear to christ it's like going to a bank from 'Idiocracy.'
First person in the morning when they opened the doors, took several minutes before anyone acknowledged I was even there, but once they did, service picked up. Slow start...strong finish. Customer for over 34 years.
I really had high hopes for this bank, but being with them for over 6 years means absolutely nothing to these people, they won't even bother to help you when you ask to take off their very high" courtesy pay" scam. Pulling my money out asap and will never reccomend nor use them again.
I had a major car accident in which I totaled my car. I bought a car through UFCU and at first they seemed to be helping me and understood how much stress I was under having no transportation. Unfortunately, they have only added more stress. Turns out I have a high interest rate added on fees that they won't remove even thou I have faxed the information of proof insurance countless times. I really wish I could give negative stars. UFCU sucks so badly I don't even know where to start. They have screwed up so many times in just the past few months I am closing my personal and business accounts. I can't wait to never deal with them again. I've been a member for more than 14 years and the incompetence has grown exponentially in the past few years. You'd be better off keeping your money in mason jars buried in the yard. STAY AWAY FROM THESE LOSERS.
Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I switched credit unions a couple of years ago, and have regretted it since. I will be looking for a new credit union soon.
Been a member for over 14 years and am about to move everything to a different bank. It's a sad day, but their customer service is just not the same. It's terrible. To add insult to injury someone stole my debit card. They of course had to cancel the card and said they'd send me a new one, but with it being the end of the month and the beginning of a new month, I have lots of payments tied to my debit card, so I need a new one quickly.
